Frequently Asked Questions

Using the app

We can help with basic operations such as creating, editing, and saving scores. If you’re unsure how to do something, attaching a screenshot of your screen helps us assist you more quickly.

Saving and exporting scores

Save as a .shami document to keep editing your score. Export PDF for printing and sharing, MIDI for other music software, or m4a audio for listening. Save documents in iCloud Drive to sync them between devices using the same Apple Account.

The free version and ShamiScore Pro

The free version lets you create scores of up to 64 measures. Pro adds multiple tracks, time signature changes, custom tuning, MIDI import, PDF export without the logo, and more. Check the app for purchase options and pricing.

Purchases and restores

ShamiScore’s paid features are available through In-App Purchases on the App Store. If a purchase doesn’t appear after changing devices or reinstalling, please try “Restore Purchases” within the app. If that doesn’t resolve it, please email us with a description of the situation. You do not need to send your Apple Account email address, password, or payment details.
