App Terms of Service
This English version is a reference translation. The Japanese version (日本語) is the authoritative text.
These Terms of Service (these "Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the application "ShamiScore" (the "App") provided by irohamo ("we" or "us"). Users shall use the App after agreeing to these Terms.
For the terms concerning the website shamisen.app and the sheet music store on that site, please see the Store Terms of Service.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms apply to all relationships between users and us relating to the use of the App.
Article 2 (Service Content)
The App is an application that provides sheet music, transcription, and performance support features for the shamisen and similar instruments. Supported operating systems are iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
The content of the App may be changed, added to, or discontinued without prior notice.
Article 3 (Fees)
The App may include free features and paid features (such as ShamiScore Pro).
Payment for paid features is made through the Apple App Store / StoreKit. Payments, subscriptions, refunds, and the like are governed by the terms and policies established by Apple.
We do not retain your credit card information or similar data.
Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)
In using the App, users must not engage in the following conduct.
- Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
- Conduct related to criminal activity
- Conduct that interferes with the operation of the App
- Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
- Analyzing, modifying, or reverse engineering the software of the App
- Conduct that infringes copyrights or other intellectual property rights
- Uploading, sharing, or distributing sheet music, audio, data, or the like without the permission of the rights holder
- Conduct that causes disadvantage or harm to other users or third parties
- Other conduct that we deem inappropriate
Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)
Copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the App belong to us or to the rightful rights holders.
Rights to data created or saved by a user within the App belong to that user or to the rightful rights holder.
Article 6 (Data Storage and Sync)
In the App, user data may be stored on the device or synced through Apple's iCloud or similar services.
We do not guarantee the integrity, persistence, or loss prevention of data. Users shall make their own backups as necessary.
Article 7 (Changes to and Termination of the Service)
We may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App without prior notice to users.
We also do not guarantee operation on specific OS versions or devices.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
We do not guarantee that the App is free from de facto or legal defects (including, but not limited to, safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, and security).
We assume no liability for any damages incurred by users arising from the use of or inability to use the App, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Privacy)
The handling of personal information in the App is governed by the separately established App Privacy Policy.
Article 10 (Changes to the Terms)
We may change these Terms when we deem it necessary. The revised Terms take effect from the time they are posted on this site.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute concerning the App, the court having jurisdiction over our location shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
